Well... I know if I ask this one on the real world I would be purpose to die an ugly death... but safely I'm here behind my computer... so I will say that I really hate U2... I guess "w**kers" really define them... guess the band isn't that bad... but Bono... just 'cause Chris Martin is worse he is not the man with the must annoying voice -at least for me...- then Coldplay... Nickelback... Maroon 5...  just weak as musicians and very very lame on creativity... and Korn represent a different style... maybe theyr'e not that bad, but I just can hear them... so... Maybe I'm wrong... you tell me please...!!!  explain yourselves... have fun...
Change the program inside... Stay in silence is a crime.

All of those are bad (to varying degrees) but the worst band ever IMHO

As much as I dislike some of these, they all have some artistic value in one way or another. Mainly the worst non-prog band is probably some guys we have never heard of. I'm sure there are worse.
 
However, I think Five Finger Death Punch are pretty terrible....

haha im glad someone made a poll like this..

iīve always wanted to say that Nickelback are the most uninspired band of all time!

i know them only from the radio, but allways they play a "new" song it sounds exactly as all their other songs thats so weird that im seriously considering they want to make fun of the listeners. and this goes on now for years... i just canīt get why they canīt just varie their songs a little.. damn thats driving me mad! Angry

Ok, I feel offended, I actually LIKE a couple bands in this poll (U2 and Coldplay)......
 
I voted "other". There are bands out there that are far, far worse than Nickelback can ever hope to be.

Have you ever heard the supposed "bass" in Korn?  All it sounds like most of the time is something clicking.  That alone is enough to make them the worst on the list IMO.

I really dont think that bands like nickelback have any artistic value, but that really isnt what they are aiming for anyway.

I voted Nickelback as reflex. They got a rock thrown at them and booed off stage. (Un?)fortunately I forgot about "crunkcore.

I also like Coldplay and U2 so don't feel too bad.

Not a band but an artist.
 
I have always despised Feargal Sharkey. "You Little Theif?","A Good Heart?".ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH Bury those songs in a deep concrete lined bunker seal it up forever never to be UNCOVERED AGAIN!!!!!
 
For all the Australians here I never liked Darryl Braithwaite's comeback in the early 90's,he did some good stuff with Sherbert in the early 70's("You've Got The Gun", "Free The People" "Cassandra" etc) but he came back in the 90's with absolutely awful bland and totally uninteresting songs like "Days Go By", and probably for me anyway, THE WORST Australian song of the nineties..."The Horses"

All are bad, minus U2, still has some very good albums, specialy the one from '80's. Voted only from the list Coldplay, disaster for my ears.

All are incredibly bad, but there are some bands not listed here that make some of these sound good... I voted Coldplay, as they are just rubbish, nothing more. This was just before I realized there was an "other" option. Bands like Fall Out Boy are even worse.

While i tend to agree that Nickelbacks songs tend to sound the same. When you combine "Hero"( a song i  do like) with Max Payne you get this.................

Korn is probably the worst on the list, but there are even far worse bands than that, I would think.

I really cannot stand Bono's voice and attitude... he pretend to be more a celebrity than a musician... and I really don't like that... Korn maybe is not that bad... but I could not remember Deftones when I was making the poll... I'm glad there's people who agreed with me... Sorry if somebody feel ofended... but hey... music is about tastes... and this are specially not my taste... and Westlife...??? at least I was thinking on rockbands... if we break that wall... the list would be endless.. jejeje...
