I've heard rumblings over at MOLF that we should be expecting Less=More any day now. I'm still pretty stoked about getting it, even though I'm not a huge an of an acoustic project. If anything, I'm more excited about the new song.

I only wonder if after this upcoming tour in support of the new album that they'll opt to perform the acoustic versions of the songs during subsequent tours? For example, rather than play the original version of "Quartz" that they'll play the new version.

Watched everything but the Racket Studio performance on Somewhere In London last night. Simply a remarkable DVD. Still, my biggest surprise is "The Release" and how cool it sounds. "Ocean Cloud" is worth the price of the product itself, though.

Just loved this on night #1 at the convention. Pretty much the same vantage point I had, but maybe a bit further back. The light show at the end was awesome.

^^such a great performance - I'm green with envy

Its pretty amazing that they can still breathe new life, energy and emotion into one of their first (and best) songs with H. And God, Rothers absolutely nails the solo!

According to the tour section on Marillion.com, (http://www.marillion.com/tour/index.htm) they've only planned these dates for the L=M material..

I'm glad I re-upped to the WebUK. This should be VERY cool!

As you may or may not know we have a worldwide team of fan clubs. You may have seen communications from us in the past where we talk about 'Web Members' as each fan club is called 'The Web'. Every year each fan club gives their members a free CD which comes directly from the band. A list of previous fan club CD's can be found here to give you an idea of the kind of stuff we do http://www.marillion.com/web/xmas.htm.

This year we are pleased to announce that for the first time we will be giving Web members a free DVD! This will be a DVD of the Cologne Happiness Is The Road Tour concert in 2008 - we're calling it 'Snow De Cologne'. Full track listing details will follow soon. So make sure that your membership is up to date or join before December 1st to guarantee yourself one.

I haven't joined a fan club since I was a teenager - in this case, I will make an exception.

Thanks Eric - a fantastic offer, and one I will certainly be taking up.Clap

I'm definitely signing up the UK edition this weekend - Considering you get the DVD, it pretty much pays for it self!
I'm also planning on buying either Holidays In Eden or (The Wishing Tree's) Ostara!

Joel

Depending on how much funding you have, I would go for Ostara first. HIE was a massive disappointment to me.

I'd grab Ostara too; but, I rather enjoy Holidays In Eden. "Splintering Heart" and "The Party" are phenomenal tracks, and "Cover My Eyes (Pain And Heaven)" is a bit poppy, but a great vocal performance by h.

I've heard Cover My Eyes, No-One Can and Splintering Heart from Holidays In Eden so far, all of which I've enjoyed... I've got a line of what's too pop-based for me to enjoy, and Marillion have never crossed that line

Received the new edition of the WebUK today. Pretty interesting stuff in this one. They've done an interview with Mike Hunter in each of the last 2 or 3 issues. I hate hearing how the negativity surrounding Somewhere Else made him feel. He did say that there would be no Happiness Is The Road without SE, though. Actually, I still think SE is a fine disc.

They also interview the girl who played the lost soul in the film Brave.

I've downloaded the L=M files from Racket, but haven't listened. I did sneak in to see what the hidden track was, though.

Still awaiting the real thing.
