Definitely don't be upset. It's nothing groundbreaking, it's just fairly enjoyable. I'd give it about 3/5, but when it came out it would be worth around 4.5/5.

You should check out GTA Chinatown Wars for the DS.It's got the top down isometric view which almost makes it like 3D.The sheer amount of stuff to do and everything R* packed onto a acart is simply astounding.I am on my second play through already.

I have been playing GTA since the early days and no how good any of the newer games are nothing will capture the magic and excitement of playing GTA for the first time in 3D.GTA III is a really special game to me and I go back and play it quite often.
I have the PS2 ports of the PSP games Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories and it was great to visit Liberty City again with new characters, missions, side missions. It also felt pretty weird to ride a motorcycle in LC.Not bad games at all.

I bought Vice City a while ago and haven't played it yet. I'll do it one of these days.

I loved the PS2 GTA games, but every time I play GTA4 at friend's houses (don't have a 360 or PS3), I always am terribly disappointed. I don't know why, it's technically a great game, I just have trouble getting into it. I think San Andreas was my favorite, I loved how open and customizable everything felt, I killed LOTS of time from that game. Probably more than any others.

I like GTA IV,Liberty City is a vibrant, amazing city.I think the graphics and psychics engine they designed for the game are awesome.But............
R* took such great pains to make everything so realistic they eliminated a lot of fun elements. No rampages, not a lot of side missions, lack of customization, etc.
When you get past the story missions there is really not alot to do.I still like the game though, and am on like my third play through the game.

a question to all who like World of Warcraft: what do you think of the
upcoming expansion which was announced at the BlizzCon? are you
satisfied with the new content? what would you have wished for that was
not announced? which of the new features do you consider to be the most
exciting?

I can't say I got too excited about the new WoW news, partially because I've always preferred the Diablo series to it and now it seems as if Diablo III is pushed back a bit more. As of right now, still playing Team Fortress 2 and on occasion Diablo II.

I've been playing Final Fantasy VII and XII a lot the last couple of months since I downloaded VII from the PS3 network. Can you believe this is actually the first time I've ever played an FF game, now I'm hooked and just hope the VIII and IX will be made downloadable as well.

Have any of you played Shadow Complex?
And if so, what do you think of the association with Orson Scott Card and this game, considering the anti-gay stance of the author that the game is based on? This may well be the first game in which gamers will have to decide whether the views of the producer's subject matter will influence if they purchase it or not. Gaygamer made an interesting post on this: http://gaygamer.net/2009/08/the_shadow_complex_conundrum.html |

I used to run a Myth group on Bungie.net. It was good times, although I got sick of those MP maps after about six months of constant play.

One answer - plugins. There are thousands made. You can multiply the original MP number by a hundred at least. Ofc Bungie is long dead. Even actually the second server PlayMyth is dead. Only got Mariusnet left now. And numbers are dwindling. |

I've gone back to Fallout 3 with all 5 expansion packs installed (PC) and I'm enjoying Anno 1404 quite a lot.

I really liked The Batman Begins game, so I definitely will be getting that soon. It got a 9.5/10 from GameInformer, and they rarely give out ratings more than a 9. |

Possibly the best game I've ever played on any console. And probably been posted before, but I'll post it again because it deserves it. |
