Of which prog or related bands do you have all studio albums restricted to those that have made at least 5 studio albums ? Tough question, I know and I will have to start digging myself too. For the moment I know this of:

Porcupine Tree
Dream Theater
Flower Kings
Pendragon
Enchant
Everon
Jadis
Ayreon
Arena
Symphony X
Pain of Salvation
Steely Dan
Shadow Gallery

Must be just about it with these. What is your list ?

Magma, that's about it really.  I'm close to the full King Crimson disco, but I don't have Three of a Perfect Pair or Beat, and I'm waiting until the 40th anniversary editions are released to finish it off.  Otherwise, I just have scattered albums by random bands here and there. I've got enough Zappa to equal a complete discography of a normal band, but nowhere near his entire studio recordings. I have the entire Dun discography and Koenjihyakkei, but they're both under 5, same with most of the bands I have every studio release from.

I have all of the above except for Pendragon, Everon, Jadis, Arena, and Steely Dan.  Others that I know that I have and can easily think of are Yes, Rush, ELP, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Tiles, Spock's Beard, Metallica, Queensryche, Led Zeppelin, Earthworks, Chicago, Journey, The Moody Blues, Marillion, Pallas, Queen, Kansas, Styx, IQ, Fates Warning, Vanden Plas, Galactic Cowboys, King's X, Phish, Umphrey's McGee, Primus, The Mars Volta, Neal Morse (although I don't have the extremely religious releases) and Radiohead.

There are probably others and as I think of them I will update this post.  I tend to be a full discography kind of guy, which unfortunately is quite expensive.

So am i! I want full discographys Tongue
But i don't own a single one yet Cry

Just counting the complete discographies, it comes to about 40, but i have exclude the compilation box-set and live albums. Too much to make a list here.

Of bands with at least 5 albums, I'm not sure I own any entire discographies.

What is the criteria for an entire discography?  Some bands such as King Crimson and Dream Theater have an endless amount of fan club releases.

The original poster seems to have defined complete discographies as studio albums.  I would assume this would not include fan club releases, etc... However, if not, then my complete discographies will be less since I have very few fan club releases.

I don't have Volume 4, Born Again, or Mob Rules.  I do have a compilation called Children of the Grave, however, which has all of the songs from Volume 4.  I'm not really sure why it is labelled differently.

Hawkwind
Gong
Amon Düül 2
Van der Graaf Generator
Peter Hammill
Guru Guru (some on vinly only; no CD version of them yet)
Magma
King Crimson
Mother Gong (again some of them only on vinyl; there are sadly no CD versions of them yet)
Embryo (again some on vinyl only)
Can
Steve Hackett
Steve Hillage
Kraan

I probably forgot a few

of some bands we have the complete discography up to a certain point where they turned uninteresting; examples are Genesis, Tangerine Dream, ELP, Gentle Giant or Pink Floyd

by the way: those complete discographies include the live albums too. both Friede and I like live albums better than studio albums
