Haha. Stan Lee was the first name that I recognized, and he isn't listed in the polls.

Surprisingly enough, as much of a geek as I am, I never got hooked by the comic books scene. I'm really not sure why though since I enjoyed the handful or so that I have read, and I always enjoy the TV Shows/Cartoons/movies that are based on comic books.

Yes but he doesn't draw.It was a poll about drawing, not writing.I of course enjoy Stan Lee's achievements(normal for a comics fan).Sorry for not lighting fires but it's my tastes.I will try and come with another topic.Anybody really interested in Marvel Comics?

How is Alan Moore not in here? It's an absolute outrage.

Wait, are we only counting artists, or authors of any kind? If we are also counting Story Writers, I demand for Lee, Moore, Finger and Kane to be added.

Hey, fusionfreak, good idea to give these uncouth ruffians some culture, but I think that Montellier, Noetzinger and all these French artists won't ring a bell. Maybe you should show pieces of the art of each artist mentionned?
I voted Hugo Pratt, immortal creator of Corto Maltese.

Isn't it funny how I'm constantly overlooked? I mentioned that Moore was missing twice on this blessed thread, and yet some other guy comes along and states it as if it's the first time it came up. Funny community, this. (and yes, I'm joking).

Not uncouth.I have heard of most of these artists, but my original statement still stands.
Besides...actually liking a Fench artist doesn't make one "couth" anyway.
