Seconded. Even this knock out I wasn't familiar with. And that's because I hardly watch movies and TV- series. Thanks for posting.

What your avatar means ? Mine is simple. I saw this cover of The Flower Kings album, then started MS Paint and drawed it :- ) so it may be considered as mine interpretation.
Some are easy, covers to albums. Some are logos of bands. Some people even have their photos, but they're minority. OK, it run thru my mind a little bit that my thread would be off-top, but I wasn't sure and I didn't used search |

I haven´t really found one I´m sattisfied with yet, so I change it like I change my socks. Right now it´s the cover to one of the filthiest grindcore albums I´ve heard in a while Cretin´s Freakery. Just love that cover artwork. Really damn mean. Reminds me of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre or something like that. And what can I say I´m a giant horror movie fan. ( I might change it later today if I see fit so I´ve pasted the picture in for keepers)

I've used mine since about the 3rd month I was on this forum - pure and simple; one of my favorite albums of all time, by one of my favorite guitarists:

I am the Catfish Man
When I first thought about getting a decent avatar I was very much into Spock's Beard, specifically "The Light" and decided that I should take on the persona of 'The Catfish Man'. I commissioned an artwork from my buddy Doc. I asked him to draw a representation of me as a catfish and voila. I may play around with the background sometime, you know, The Catfish Man in France, The Catfish Man cheering the Penguins on to a Stanley Cup win tonight . . . For those that are interested, more of his work can be found at www.killjoycomics.com under the Martin Molotov heading. For the record, the cost of a custom made avatar for me . . . a single lunch unit. |

Mine is a drawing I made (though I rarely draw) during a period when I was trying to draw pictures that represented Frank Zappa titles. This particular one is for "Cruising for Burgers".

I've been trying to find the source files of mine, and failed - I've located parts of it, but can't find the original photograph of me that it is a collage of, but essentially it is a merging of these two images:

Mine is obvious to any fan of The Flower Kings........maybe not to others.
I choose it because it is still my favorite album by anyone related to that band since it was released (2005). Also, I felt a strong connection to the lyrics. Plus, I just think it makes for a cool avatar |

Mine's the cover of the album Revival by Al Basim. Thought it looked quite dark and mysterious!

Texas Chain Saw Massacre is great ! I saw the original from 1974 a long time ago. Made me .
Did you see Deliverance (1972) ? and Wrong Turn (2003) ? I like those American bush movies !
Zombi II (1979) was also very nice.
