No Tangerine Dream and no Hellebore.
 
#8 is a project that was started with certain members of King Crimson and though you would never guess from the clip features accordion as a lead instrument.

That leaves bands beginning with:

H A I L & E

E is for Etron Fou Leloublan

I'm wondering if the last track maybe by Louk de Bouk or someone like that.

James, I was scared you'd soon deflate. I didn't know how many more Etron Fou Leloublan offshoots you could throw at me like that... Wacko
 
As for Amon Duul, it's definitely in the right trail, but the band we're looking for is probably a little less iconic.

Look de Bouk are not an offshoot as such but they were Suisse and related to Hellebore (as were Kulu Hatha Mamnua).

So just two to get?

Then I'll go for Ash Ra Tempel.

As for the L... I'm working on it.

It's not even Ash Ra Tempel either! The rest of your synthesis is correct though. We still have a non-English language band beginning with L (and translating to Bread and salt) to find, plus a key pioneer of the Krautrock scene beginning with A.
 
James, if I gave 1 point for a correct answer and substracted 1 point for a wrong answer, you'd be in the red. And if I multiplied your score by 5 as a reward for solving the puzzle, well you'd be even further down in the red. LOL

So it's either Ashra or A.R. & Machines.

I'll go for the latter.

As for the L... I have no idea.  The only one I could find was Latte e Miele and I'm fairly sure that translates as something completely different in Italian.
