Thank you, very helpful - looks like I've got a lot to learn before I even start (back to school with me); now, blood elf or dwarf? Decisions, decisions |

Are any of you as disappointed in Spore as I am? I was always a Sims and Terrible Nintendo64 graphics and game play that makes the word 'repetitive' seem over-enthusiastic. Regarding the pre-release hype I consider this to be the biggest turkey in the last five years. And no, I don't want to play games just for the pleasure of content editors, and that's all this seems about.Oh, I almost forgot: I'm really getting into 'Sins of a Solar Empire'. Great game, although it took me a hell of a long time to get into, because of inadequate instructions and tutorial. Do they have to make the learning curve so steep because of a lack of documentation? I wish they'd always do something on the lines of the Civilization IV manual. Complex games just require that.
But enough griping, SoaSE is a phantastic game. Edited by npjnpj - November 19 2008 at 11:03 |

Definitely agree on the CivIV manual - with a game that large you need good reference material (even if you have been playing since the original CivI)

I finished Super MArio Galaxy on WII (one of only three reasons I bought one)... Fantastic game, though never as glorious as Super MArio 3 or Super MArio World... Then I started playing Zelda: Twilight Princess (reason number 2.. the third one is Metroid, and then the Wii will die in oblivion). But I had to go back to decent-graphics at least for a while. So I have put the game on hold and I'm enjoying the carnage of ultra-stupidly great graphics of Gears of War 2

If anyone wants to play the original on Half-Life on PC, it is only $0.98 on Steam because of
its 10th anniversary. |

^ I got that right before the offer expired on Friday, and I've been playing it since. It's pretty good so far, but kind of scary at parts.

I am stuck on FFVII in the Temple of the Ancients , there is that door guardian that is impossible to beat. Does anyone know how to do it? |

FFVII is my favorite game of all time. Can't quite remember the boss you're on right now. Power level time?

I liked Fable 2 way too much.
Even with its flaws, it was one of the most compelling games I've played for reasons I can't fully explain.

I've just started Mass Effect. Very impressed.
Seeing as how I'm somewhat of a Jade Empire/Kotor fanboy, I should be in for a thrill ride. |

Revival.
Since my puter sucks monkey balls at running games, I've been getting into older stuff... I tried Civ 3, but so far hate it compared to Civ 4 Still trying to learn how Heroes of Might and Magic 3 works... Need to pick up Planescape again... |

Mmmm Planescape: Torment!
I have that... must start again. Recently I started again on Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast. I'm also still playing Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir, Sacred Underworld, StarCraft, 1400: The Guild, The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas and Age of Empires: Rise of Rome. So a lot! |

I finally finished Okami. Now I'm back to Final Fantasy VIII. After that I've got a pile waiting:
- Final Fantasy XII - Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria - Odin Sphere - Suikoden V - Shadow Hearts: Covenant - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and probably more that I can't remember. |

Because if your post is any indication, you own all the copies of the game and no one else is able to play it. |
