do you know "cage"?

...waiting for answers......

Cage is a good band. I've heard their MySpace sampler and think so.
Sadly I think their style belong to symphonic and neo-prog rather than Oriental-flavoured. Wink

It was my favourite album of 2006, and gotta love the shakuhachi.

Yesterday I could get the album and soon listened.
Oo...my eyes got dim with tears...by such a pleasant album.

^I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Damo. :)  It would be a difficult album for many.

In general Damo see the  Italian Jazz Rock  band Il Baricentro 2 LPs. This band have good Byzantine influences (typical of Italian Jazz Rock of 70's)!

Zoicekardiá I've not heard, but L'idea del vuoto is in PA library and I've listened to it.
Oh...the vocal-style (by Calogiuri bros.?) is exactly Japanese Enka-like.
The tune itself is so jazzy, not like Zipangesse.

Thanks Mandy. Clap
