I'm not the biggest Genesis fan, by a long shot, but get Hackett on board as well and I am definitely going to a show.

Yeah not really news on Feb. 3 last year an interview appeared in the Montréal French newspaper La Presse with Eric Mandel which I translated for a few members here and he said the same thing when querried about a  " full out " Genesis reunion. Personally I don`t think it will ever happen. All he`s saying is that he`s not opposed to it. He`s way too busy and I can`t see Phil  sitting behind the drum kit and keeping his mouth shut for 2 hours. Phil would be pleading pleeeeeeeeeese can we do Invisible Touch Please, please with sugar on top. Nahh. Ain`t gonna happen.

Wait, let me check to see if monkeys are flying out of my butt...  Nope, not yet.  Actually, Steve just mentioned that was still a possibility in a recent interview on his new website.

I wish they'd stop talking about it and pull the trigger on this thing. "Speculating" has gone on long enough.

Phil has stated on several occasions regarding this and has said he is perfectly comfortable to just sit behind the drums and let Pete sing.
The only one holding this up is Pete.

I would so fly anywhere in the united states if they decided to show up here.... (because they would never come to idiotic florida...)

But I don't think it will ever happen.

There was a documentary on BBC 4 a few days ago about genesis reunion tour in 2007 and Phil Collins said that in 2005 he and the other 71-75 line up met and discussed the idea that they would go on tour for 4 or 5 gigs performing the lamb lies down on Broadway in its entirety and then release it on DVD.

Nothing seems to have come from that meeting but at least there thinking about it.

If they do tour, I will definitely pay to see them. I missed them on the 2007 tour.

I'd actually prefer to see Collins/Hackett/Banks/Rutherford, i.e. the Trick and Wind line-up.

They performed it back in 1975 but have only played a few songs from it since.
