6.The lamb lies down on broadway
7.Nursery cryme

I don't bow down to the Gabriel era as much as most people around here.
And Then There Were Three is an excellent collection of songs and underrated in my opinion.
Trick is my favourite because it has a perfect balance between what Genesis were and what they later became.
I tend to rate Nursery Cryme and Trespass low because of poor production quality which is also partly why they are at the bottom of my list.
Lamb is inspired in places but I'm not a fan of double albums in general.
WAW has some great tracks but overall not as consistent as the ones above it.

pretty easy...
  1. Foxtrot - my favorite hands down, maybe the best album ever recorded
  2. Nursery Cryme - Hogweed = my favorite individual genesis song
  3. Trick of the Tail - Squonk = my 2nd favorite genesis tune
  4. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway - in the cage & 32 doors!
  5. Selling England by the Pound - cinema show!
  6. Wind and Wuthering
  7. Trespass
  8. And Then there were Three
and then 9: Duke - still some good stuff
the rest i don't care for at all...
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity...

I have not heard them all- but from what I have heard:

My favorite by far is SEBTP

My least favorite was Nursery Cryme.

1.Foxtrot: MASTERPIECE, above of SEBTP just because of Supper
2.SEBTP: MASTERPIECE, a pitty the bad-placed More Fool Me
3.Trespass: My entry to Genesis. Moody and soft. Lovely!
4.Lamb: Very very interesting, almost a Masterpiece
5.Nursery Cryme: Trespass refined with better compositions
6.Trick of the Tail: Very Good and a smart one.
7.W&W, Duke: Very Good.
8.We Can't Dance: very fun pop
9.ATTWT, Abacab, Genesis: 5 out of 10 songs on each album are enjoyable
10.Invisible Touch: LAME!

I actually like everything from Tresspass to Wind and Wuthering about the same to the point I can't rank them as for the leftovers:
1. And Then There Were Three
2. Duke
3. From Genesis To Revalation
4. Abacab
5. Invisible Touch
6. Mama album
7. Calling All Stations
8. Still haven't heard We Can't Dance apart from the hits.  I may have to pick it up one of these days just for completionist sake.
Never had the Mama album in my collection and the only Invisible Touch I have is LP format.  I guess you can basically say I got disenchanted with them in their latter days.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

My first Love,  and thus me thinks (with co-efficient)

  1. Selling England by the Pound (1000/1000)
  2. Foxtrot                                           (950/1000)
  3. The Lamb                                     (900/1000)
  4. Nursery Cryme                            (899/1000)
  5. Trespass                                      (875/1000)
  6. Wind & Wuthering                       (850/1000)
  7. Trick of the Tail                            (830/1000)
  8. Duke                                              (400/1000)
  9. And then there was Collins       (200/1000)

Dependent on mood, 2/3/4 may change places but overall, it's an OLD-SCHOOL opinion............
