It is, but I think you should have written the lyrics like they were sung:
NAAAAAOOOO EEEIIIIMMMM LOOOO-Hoooo-HuAAAAAAAHHHHHST!!!!!

![LOL LOL](smileys/smiley36.gif) You know, my wife accused me something that is outrageous-
See, I never liked The Mars Volta, and couldn't understand why other people liked them so much. Every time I tried to listen to them, I just hated what I heard. It was noisy and the vocals were so obtrusive.
But when I went ahead and sprung for a couple of albums, I realized I liked what I heard, a lot, perhaps because the headphones at record stores are that good, I guess.
Anyway, my wife hates The Mars Volta and refuses to let me play it in her presence. But she accused me of liking them just because they are popular on Prog Archives. Can you believe that?
This coming from a guy who gave In the Court of the Crimson King three stars and ELP's debut two. And I don't like Van der Graaf Generator (as yet).

Oh man, I was listening to Godbluff in the car on the way to Ikea last
night and remembering how much I adore that album. This morning I
listened ot The Last We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other, which my lovely
girlfriend found in a used record store for me before my VdGG loving
friend was able to get to that section. She quite enjoys them too,
which surprises me because she's more into Punk, although she does like
a lot of prog.
Actually, she's the one that got me into Mars Volta, she's a huge At
The Drive-In fan, and I don't love most of MV's stuff, but I really
like Frances The Mute. Not sure what to give the debut yet for a score.
Now I need to hear more VdGG, thanks for that ![](smileys/smiley17.gif)

| I'd rate all of their albums a solid four- excellent music- except for the fourth album...I'm still letting that one sink in, but I can see myself giving it a two or three. Probably a three- there's a few songs I really like, like "Ilyena."

I gave Frances a 4 and Amputechture a 3... I'm torn between 3 + 4 for the debut. It's good music but I never find myself 'wanting' to hear it

| I actually don't care too, too much for the last two songs on Frances the Mute. They should have been one track and a little more cohesive.
But anyway, I love the way the acoustic section bookends the album.
Have you heard the actual song "Frances the Mute," and if so, is it any good?

| No hidden track. I checked. Just the lyrics. The actual song is on an EP or single, I think.

yeah, that figures. Someone also screwed up the digital labelling because the last song actually takes up a hell of a lot more tracks than what is labeled, and "That Ghost Aint Holy" is only one track.

And someone spelled "Gemini" wrong, I think. Unless that was intentional, in which case they still spelled it wrong.

hooray for mistakes! I also hate it when a 2 disc album will be labeled something like Ayreon - The Human Equation [disc 1] Ayreon - the human equation (Disc 2) ...everything must be labeled correctly!!!! ![Angry Angry](smileys/smiley7.gif)

I know what you mean. When my album comes out (I guess maybe in January), I'll want everything precise and perfect.
So when do you want to interview me? I have a fascinating life. I hang out on PA all day and record music.

| So, speaking of music on PA, how do they choose the "Featured artist of the month?" I ask because I've noticed they've only had three, and one of them wasn't very good.
