I'll be surprised if I don't get any hate mail from either of my last two reviews.

Oh!...Oh!...Oh!...

*Clutches chest*

"I'm coming home to you Elizabeth!  I'm coming home to you honey!

Okay, Alex.  I respect you a lot, but I've got to give you the business on this one.

I personally don't care much for most instrumentals.  But this album is the most amazing listening music ever.  Don't focus on it.  Play it in the background when your playing WoW.  Or screwing your girl.  Or doing the dishes.  Whatever.

But TWO STARS?  Shocked

Camel's best album is Moonmadness, but I'm not really big on them. Snow Goose is SO boring and uninteresting; I even tried listening to it again just now but it hadn't changed at all on me. Meh.

I guess I can appreciate your view.  I didin't think I'd like it, being it's all instrumental and all...

But the first time I played it...ohhhhhhhhhhhh.  Beauty.

By the way- have you read the story?  That might get you into this album.

I actually love instrumental stuff that's GOOD (i.e. Mahavishnu Orchestra, Tangerine Dream, Ozric Tentacles, etc.), but that album is just meh to me.

I read a synopsis of it, but not the actual story. I've had the album for years now and I was hoping to finally get into it but I think I never will.

Well, Alex-

This is all can say:

Many people since yesterday have tried to tell me I'm wrong for disliking "Moonchild."  It's sonic art, they say.  But I'll pass it every  time.

If you loathe The Snow Goose, then I respect and appreciate your opinion.  I won't try to change you with with my opinions.

I do hope, though, that someday later, while you're typing a long email, perhaps,  you put this album on and just let it run loose.

And that's the best response I could ask for.

I'm definitely keeping it in my collection. Wink
