Some of those do look attractive... but I think I'll wait on that offer until tonight after we've both gotten some more cards. What do you think?

Sorry I was away. Apparently my wife ordered some new bedding for our bed and they sent us the wrong thing. So she had to email them.
Anyway, DAMN. Two gold cards out of five and I didn't get one. No complaints though. I got two of my favorite songs, and "Tarkus" is pretty rare.
And, again, DAMN. Both of my new The Mars Volta gold cards (that I made two nights ago) are given out practically in a row.

| All the gold cards are people, actually.
But I'll tell you what- if you complete the set, I'll dress up in a red dress and real a REAL fox head and come do a dance for you. How's that sound?

Also, I'm free to do Prog Jeopardy in thirty minutes (I'd have to make the board) if anyone will be free and willing to play. Remember, ten percent of the score of the winner is rounded down for more cards, and anyone who at least has one point by the end of the game will get a participation card.

Awesome. I'll take a pic and make a gold card out of it.
| On second thought...

That sounds like fun, but you think we should wait until later this evening?

This person says:
"Splattering paint on a canvas" - you don't know much about art, do you?
"Directionless improvisation" - you probably mean free
improvisation? - is a territory inhabited by many artists in the past
50 years or so in contemporary music.
Please stop writing "reviews". Listen to the music, enjoy it, but
stop there. You are not unbiased, you are simply ignorant of many
things. Leave yourself some time to grow up. This site is public domain
and your words are seen by many - and it's a shame.
I would like to think this has a positive effect, my intention is not to annoy.
My response:
Splattering on a paint canvas isn't art. It's laziness disguised as art.
Another territory inhabited by many artists over the past 50 years has been douchebaggery, which I don't like either.
"Please stop writing reviews," you say. Well, perhaps you should get off your duff and start writing reviews (I checked, and you only have two, you know).
And I am ignorant of many things. I'm 25. One of the things I am not ignorant of is my own opinion.
Leave myself some time to grow up, you say? I'm two years older than you, have
been married for five, have a one-year-old son, have a college
education, and have hemmorrhoids.
Yes, this is public domain, and your words are about to be seen by many.
(End)
Does anyone think that was too harsh? Because I certainly don't.

Well I personnally think your first responses were quite harsh and ignorant but I won't make much out of it.

It sounded fine to me. I thought it was incredibly shameful of the other person's message, and the ironic part is that he makes himself look ignorant in the process. I probably wouldn't have responded to it; or if I had, I would have been more blunt. Nonetheless, there's nothing wrong with your response.

| I think it's jackassery to write someone a PM telling them they don't know anything, simply because you don't like that person's review. I gave a careful assessment of an album on an album I genuinely wanted to love (of course I wanted to love it- I spent money on it). Sadly, I only like about half of it- hence a 3 rating.
It's ridiculous.

I'm glad you posted this review, Alex. I see this one all the time in stores, but never know if I should get it. I guess not, since you gave it a three, and every one is wanting me to make out with Mike Oldfield.
