I'm pretty happy that the Rays held on to win that game and that series. I thought it was pretty ironic that the score ended 3 to 1, since that was where the series was prior to the Sox winning 2 and evening it up at 3 games apiece. I had read an article about how good David Price is expected to be; if last night was any indication, the Rays definitely have themselves a good one.

yeah... talk about ice-water in your veins... watching something on him on ESPN right now.. oh I hate these kinds of series... have been rooting for both teams ... for the series.. being I'm a AL wonk..... sticking with the Rays.. but won't be broken up in the least if the Phillies win. Should be a GREAT series...

More importantly, Vegas is picking the Rays. Odds are 7-5 for the Rays.

Well I'll be rooting hard for the Phils, but it's Philly so I'm not exactly holding my breath.

Play Ball!!!! I'm hoping for a good series as well. My parents live in the Tampa area and they are converted Rays fans. I took them to a Rays game in May when I was down visiting them. I've kind of been rooting for the Rays all season (given that the Tigers were a bust from the start) so I am hoping that they complete the dream season with a Worlds Series victory.

How backwards is it that the Rays were AL champs while the Tigers took last place this year? Everybody predicted the opposite.

It was a good game last night. Not a blow out and not decided till the final out. It was good for baseball.

Phils are 2-1 now. I believe they will win the Series. We'll see in a few days.

They really need to do something about how late in the year the games are being played. They should be done with Series the first weekend of October.
