I was surprised Toronto traded Matt stairs,i mean this guy might be in his forties but he always had this flair for the dramatic by hitting game winning or tying homeruns.Especially being a Canadian boy i was just very surprised they got rid of him. I don't know if there was anyone as proud as i was to see him hit that 2 run homer.Funny but the guy still plays pick up hockey, that's his first love.

The Phillies are in. Here's hoping that the Rays join them soon.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Manny in the off-season. They were talking that the Dodgers were willing to give him $25 million per year for 1 or 2 years, whereas Manny wants a longer term deal. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

Hard to say what he is worth at this point in his career. He did help them out along with Blake. Not sure the Dodgers want to sign him to a 100M contract.

It's nice to see that MLB and Fox pushed back game 6 of the World Series for an Obama 30 minute infomercial.

That Sox comeback was ridiculous. I was ready to go to bed, glad I stayed up!

I couldn't believe it. When I went to bed it was 7-0 and the Rays only needed 7 outs. What a meltdown.

I've been rooting for the Rays (OK, against the Red Sox), but at least this gives me a couple more days of baseball.

Don't really care to see Boston win again either; however, I think they have this series now.

Lester blew up a couple games ago, hopefully he can blow up today.
Then again, Matsuzaka blew up in game 5....

I'm really "feeling" that the Red Sox will win tonight, but at the same time you think their elimination game win streak has to end somewhere. Eh, it's game 7, anything goes.

Never understood the reason for gun fire to celebrate something. All those bullets must come down somewhere.
