Voivod
Metal Mind Productions presents the re-release of seventh studio album by Voivod - "The Outer Limits" (1993). This was the last album Voivoid recorded with their vocalist Snake until, exactly 10 years later, they released their self-titled reunion album in 2003. "The Outer Limits" features a perfect blend of past formulas with new and innovative ideas. On this album, Voivod mixed various thematic and musical elements with ease, which resulted in their most powerful, diversified, and mature release. This album is a benchmark for Voivod. Includes a cover of Pink Floyd's song, "The Nile Song" (from the album "More"). The booklet features a 3D graphic design, which can be viewed through special 3DG glasses that come along with the CD. The new digipak edition is limited to 2000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process, released on a golden disc. Label: Metal Mind Records |

Ulysses - The Gift of Tears (U.S. release November 18th) “The Gift of Tears” is the long expected new album by Ulysses. After the release of the brilliant debut album “Symbioses” in 2003, the expectations were high for this new album. “The Gift of Tears” takes off where “Symbioses” left you. This is the masterpiece on which the progressive rock fans have been waiting for. When the band released its debut, critics saw the band as the new big thing in the genre. With ‘The gift of tears’ they released yet another great album and will prove the critics right. Ulysses has proven to be a band that appeals to a broad audience. This album will appeal to music fans from (symphonic) rock to (progressive) metal music. The unique combination of the neo-prog influenced keyboard player Besides great music the album tells real stories about real people. This has enabled Ulysses to incorporate real emotions into their compositions. Greeve and Joy are the emotions everybody has to coop with during life, on this album Ulysses succeeded in bringing these emotions alive in their music. “The Gift of Tears” is a CD that should be at the top of every Progressive Rock and Progressive Metal fan’s wish list. U.S. release November 18th. Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Halcyon Way
Atlanta's progressive power/thrash band HALCYON WAY have inked a deal with U.S. label Nightmare Records. Their debut CD, "A Manifesto For Domination", will be released worldwide on November 11, 2008.
The album was produced by guitarist Jon Bodan, mixed by Lasse Lammert (Alestorm), and mastered by James Murphy (Testament, Death). Sounding like a cross between Megadeth, Dio, and Fates Warning, the band is known and recognized for its energetic and theatrical live performances, blazing guitar, intricate drumming, and three-part vocal harmonies. They have appeared live with acts such as Helloween, Symphony X, Kamelot, Brand New Sin, Cellador, Circle II Circle, To/Die/For, Doro Pesch, Strapping Young Lad, and many others. In addition, they appeared live at the ProgPower USA Showcase in 2004 and 2007, alongside bands such as Primal Fear, Threshold, Freak Kitchen, and Virgin Steele. Halcyon Way also performed twice at Rocklahoma in 2008, alongside bands such as Queensr˙che & Tesla, and many others. |

I sort of have one for you. The band AtmOsfear says that they are releasing their new album in Autumn 2008. I believe that they are still on Prog Rock records. Here is a link to their website, but it is in German so I am not useful in translating.

In photo - area Tim now "bildlich" as a Member of atmosfear! The home page is now gradually transformed - try understand when not all 100, we are working!
28.08 2008. We thank our drummer OLAF great and unique cooperation over the last 10 years and wish him. Unfortunately, professional changes in OLAF on the separation of the belt.
It is with a six in Lotto to compare that we barely two weeks later with Tim beaked the gap close and atmosfear again rehearsed and productive works (Studio preparations).
Tintin, welcome to atmosfear!!!
