I finished Blade Runner, so now I'm going to get back to Final Fantasy VIII and Okami. I've also played a lot of Grand Theft Auto III recently.

I just got Heavenly Sword from Gamefly and sent it back after about two hours of play. Wasn't great.
The game I play most right now is Call of Duty 4 online on the PS3.

Is anyone here planning to get this:
http://deadspace.ea.com/ Looks interesting enough. Though the EA logo is probably the scariest thing about the game. What do you think, will it be worth the money? |

Horror games aren't really to my taste so I'll probably only pick it up once it hits the bargain bin, the EA release that I'm interested in is Mirror's Edge which is looking like really good fun.

Both games look interesting. I'm really looking forward to Mirror's Edge gameplay, just the fact that weapons are not useful. I'm also a huge fan of parkour style action.
I'm playing Spore (creature pics soon to follow) |

Don't waste your money on Star Wars:The Force Unleashed.I am so disappointed with this buggy,over-hyped piece of sh*t.I am surprised LucasArts released a game with so many faults.

I've rarely heard good things about ANY Star Wars game. Come to think of it, licensed games are just about always bad.

Shadow should have been on the PS3, it has a lot of glitches but they put an enormous amount of detail in that game. Go here:http://www.1up.com/do/minisite?cId=3149975 and listen to the last section of the podcasts of these dates: 06/23/2008 06/30/2008 07/07/2008 07/14/2008 They have a discussion on the game and some really interesting points arise. Spoiler warning, though. Edited by KoS - September 18 2008 at 02:40 |

Knights Of The Old Republic (first one) is a bloody good RPG. KOTOR II had loads of potential, but was bungled. |

I bought this the other day, and hooooly cow. Easily one of the freakiest games in history The plot is anything but original. You are sent to check out a mining starship stranded in a forgotten corner of space. Of course your ship is damaged on the way in, so once the excrement hits the fan you can't just run back to the docking station and leave. Still, this game just beats Doom 3 (an obvious inspiration) in so many ways. The monsters are the most disturbing I've ever seen, probably more so than the ones in the Silent Hill series. The trap designs are quite intelligent and the locations are nothing short of awesome. And then there are the set pieces ... The game seems to be heavily inspired by System Shock 2 and the classic The Thing. A winning combination, no doubt. It's not perfect; I was really let down by the final level, with its monotonous gameplay and somewhat regular-looking final boss (but that just highlights how freaky the other monsters are!). Then there are some tasks that are quite irritating to complete. But really, this game is just freaking EPIC. I still feel uneasy about playing it again... |

I ts been a long time since I last played a video game , I used to be a gamer a couple oy years ago. Probably I don't have the time
What do you think? I beliave that the second half of the 90's was the golden era in video games , specially for the PSX that's the best console ever. Games are neither innovative , nor exiting now. I mean yes.... LOADS of graphics but Its always the same idea.
I feel like playing Gran turismo 2 or Street Fighter alpha 3.
