You should...IMO. After that, avoid The Scatering of Ashes and even more: their latest release The Incurable Tragedy. I think that with their latest album it proves my theory that this band is clearly declining. So sad cause BIO is one of my favorite albums of all time.Cry

new Cynic demos
I'm excited for this album for some reason, even if it isn't as blatantly technical as Focus

New Cynic would be good, even if Jason Gobel is not part of the band anymore, as far as I am concerned.

Dear CYNIC fans, the time has now come to unveil cult American band's sophomore album's artwork and track listing! As previously announced, "Traced in Air" will be released on October 27th, and it contains the following songs:

1. Nunc Fluens
2. The Space for this
3. Evolutionary Sleeper
4. Integral Birth
5. The Unknown Guest
6. Adam's Murmur
7. King of those who know
8. Nunc Stans

Here is the artwork of the album. Yes, it is the work of renowned artist Venosa, who created the unmistakable cover and visuals for "Focus" in 1993.

Great venue, just got into this band..3 days before my birthday..this could be a possibility.

I really want to see Protest the Hero October 30th though. Anyone else going to see them this run with Unearth and Whitechapel?

The new Cynic will be 35-40 minutes like Focus?  8 tracks like there.
The cover looks quite cool.

First I've heard of this. Ooh, consider me titillated!

Oh man! Plus Euro-tour with Opeth, sounds epic.

New Into Eternity's album is terrible. The vocals sound even worst than ever and the repetition of  technic really evident this time around. I must admit there are still some good moments but are easily ruined by Stu Block's annoying high notes or his shreiks(his clean vocals and death grunts are moderate). One of the biggest disappointments of 2008.Cry

I'm listening to an advance copy of Gojira's newest and so far it's pretty good, but the music seems a little more accessible than their previous albums.
