Take heart in knowing that your bullpen cannot be any worse than the Cardinals. They keep going back to Isringhausen and he keeps blowing games. It took a walk off homer in the 11th to win. ]

I have had both Izzy and Jones on my fantasy team this year and neither was a pleasurable experience. 

At least Brandon Lyon has been good for me all year.

Looking at the Dodgers relievers I wonder if Torre wishes that he had never taken the Dodgers job?

Looks like the Yanks are regretting trading Karstens to the Buccos. 2-0 with a near perfect game against the Diamondbacks.

The Tigers have been shutout 11 times this year and they have lost 19 games when they had the lead or were tied going into the 7th inning.  These two items are exaclty why they are 3 games under .500 and 7 1/2 games out of 1st place in the Central.  Can you imagine the Yankees losing 19 games when they had the lead in the 7th inning or later with Rivera as their closer?  Boston with Papelbon?  Chicago with Jenks?  Minnesota with Nathan?   I would be really surprised if any of these teams have lost more than 5 games when tied or leading in the 7th inning or later.  Very frustrating.  Any how, the Tigers held on to beat the White Sox 8-3 tonight.  I say hang on because with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th the score was 5-3, the Sox had men on 2nd and 3rd base, and Ramirez hit a line drive to left field that Ryan Raburn dove full out  to catch and rob Ramirez of a single and 2 RBIs.  It definitely hasn't been easy.

I know the Angels have been giving the Yankees fits even back when they sucked and the Yanks were great.
But it still hurts...

Kuo has been remarkably effective as well.  He got the loss today, but that was because of two errors and a double play that should've been turned. 

I just bought 4 tickets to a Cardinals/Brewers game that I can't go to.  DOH!
