I know that Hughes is doing some rehab stuff right now, as is Carl Pavano--not that he'll make it back to the Show before he hurts himself again.

I've been pleased with Rasner...he's gotten the job done, and has had some BAD offense. His record should be better than it is.

Rasner's ERA is almost 5. And that's after a spectacular couple of starts to begin his season. His last outing was discouraging as hell; his curveball was the only pitch that was very effective, but he refused to throw it. Every time he got two strikes, he just missed with fastballs until he walked the guy or gave up a hit.

I agree. Ras has not pitched a 'good' game since his first 3 wins all the way back when he replaced Kennedy...who I really want to come back. He's going to be incredible, he was great last season in his 3 starts. He had a very few this year, but he didn't stay around for too long. He's ready again.

Watch the homerun replays and Weaver's reactions. Don't convince me wrong, there is a Steven Wilson resemblance. Big Time.

Today it was four innings, five earned runs for Rasner. They only won because the Anaheim Angels of California suddenly couldn't play defense.

Yeah, the announcers said he probably will get one more start at most or just be replaced, regardless he's done. Looks like Kennedy might be handed the ball once again. It needs to happen, Ian is amazing.

Kennedy's amazing in AAA now, but he was also amazing in AAA before he came to the majors, so it's hard to say how much better he'll be now than he was then.

Hughes just seemed to have mental trouble, because the stuff was there.

Yeah, that was a typical performance for him last year.

No offense and I know it is easy to refer to it that way but Anaheim is not LA no matter what Arte Moreno tries to convince you of. It's not even in the same county.

The team that really plays in LA at least through the first three games struck gold with Ramirez. That was a huge turn around in that series. Lets see how they do on the road and Brad Penny due back Friday. This month is a tough part of the schedule for them and an easier one for the d-backs and Colorado is still hanging around too. This is where it starts to get interesting

Reading the paper today, seems that might have been Ras's last start. Hinting on Kennedy

Official word from the Yanks is that Dan Giese will take the start and that Rasner will take the long-relief role.

Yeah, I heard. Sad news for me. Giese was doing great relief work. His start was the least bit impressive.

A few days after the Angles won the court decision to call themselves that. Vin Scully the great announcer of the Dodgers was speaking at a public function and the first words out of his mouth was "The Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles"

Even still Moreno and the Angles have built a pretty decent organization and it competes with the best in baseball.

I just find it impressive that the Angels have managed to play three different places....without ever moving!

Well originally they were the LA Angels when they played at Wrigley field (a minor league park) and Dodger Stadium from 61-66 in LA. Then they moved to Anaheim and became the California Angels then the Anaheim Angels when Disney bought them and now the LA Angels of Anaheim under Moreno. It really is kinda stupid to keep changing it. I cannot think of another team in any sports that did that. Neither New York FB teams did it when they moved to New Jersey and how stupid would the Irving Cowboys would have sounded. I think they at first wanted to shed the LA moniker to separate themselves from the Dodgers and now they want it back because it represents something larger than Anaheim.

Whatever.

I have been having such a difficult time getting on PA
anywho: Yanks won that game against the angels, which seemed more to do with their massive errors then the Yanks, who lost AGAIN to the Rangers........

And it sounds like Joba might be out a bit. Dead

Another fabulous performance by Farnsworth for the Tigers last night. 6-5 with 2 outs in the 8th inning and Leyland decides to bring Farnsworthless in. He proceeded to give up a homerun to make it 6-6. And sadly with the Tigers lead 8-6 in the 14th, Zumaya proceeded to follow in the footsteps of Jones, Rodney, and Farnsworth and gave up a 3-run homer to Nick Swisher so the Tigers lost yet again because of their sh**ty bullpen.
