Well if you do get more money and you've got the patience to deal with the learning curve,  I'd skip straight to the Line 6 POD X3 Live.

EDIT: Due to the Vox ADVTs hybrid amp nature, i.e Valve pre amp and mainly solid state power amp section, you will need to replace Pre amp Valves every 2 or so years.
Compared to a full valve/tube amp, a hybrid amp doesn't require as much maintenance on your part and is generally cheaper to run.

You mention lack of low end, I just remembered that you use a MIM strat right?
An MIM strat with single coils will always inherently be weak on low end, plus you get more noise with single coils and have to turn up your noise gate to compensate, which just kills more tone anyway.

By the time you get a new amp, I highly doubt you'll have money left over to spend on ze guitar.
The easiest solution would be, well, to get a new guitar actually. The reason I would never buy a triple single coil strat, is that it has no real thick tones to be found.
My guitar can do some pretty mean low end stuff, but take into account my guitar costs 3 times more than your guitar.
There is of course, the option of new pickups obviously.

A pickup change will only go so far, hence why a new guitar is the most kick butt option.
Your guitar just doesn't have the most heavy sounding wood.

But yar, pickups. There are many manufactuers/brands, some of which are very well known and some, err, lesser known.
The 3 most well known brands, are Seymour Duncan and Dimarzo and EMG Inc.
There are also more boutique pickups, like Lundgren, but these can cost more than 50 per cent more than the big 3, but I've been told it can be worth the price.
You wanted heavier sounding pickups, so I'll leave out the options that will just be better but no heavier sounding pickups than you have.
The Seymour Duncan Hot Rails, are very high output blade single coil sized humbuckers. The tone is very much lower mid/low end focused, so in some guitars they are muddy, but in a strat like your which has an Alder body (a typically bright tone wood), muddiness is highly unlikely to be a problem. You will notice your amp will get kicked into overdrive much more easily with these pickups, which is either a blessing or a curse.
There is also the Cool Rails, a lower output version of the Hot Rails, which some people prefer if they find the Hot Rails is too powerful for them. There is the JB jr SJB-1, which is more upper mid range focused, but still heavier than your pickups, and has a high output, but not as high as the Hotrails.
There is also the active pickup route, the Seymour Duncan Blackouts, which utilise a 9 volt preamp, although you only need to change the battery about once every 6-12 months, depending on how often you play. These will be FAR MORE quiet than your pickups, so you have less hassle of getting hiss and hum in your recordings.
But bear in mind all these options are 60 Hz hum cancelling, which is only a good thing.
From Dimarzio, there is the Tonezone S 189, the Fast Track 2 DP 182, all of which will give you a boost in the lower mids and low end.
