^ Also bad for my fantasy team. Pinch

So that's three injured starters (Wang, Chris Young, Fausto Carmona), and two struggling starters (Micah Owings, Roy Oswalt).  Well... I have to drop someone.

sh*t.  Bad for my fantasy team, but worse for the Yanks.  With Kennedy and Hughes both unavailable, the only option seems to be Kei Igawa.  What a nightmare.

Yeah...while I don't wish anyone to be hurt, I hate the Yankees too. And the Mets.

So Willie Randolph was finally fired after all that speculation.  I wonder why the bad timing though, 12:15 a.m. PST if I'm correct, and after they beat the Angels.  But is it really his fault for how bad his team is?  Omar Minaya is the one who put the team together, it seems his job status isn't questioned enough.  And it doesn't seem like Jerry Manuel is a good idea to replace him since he has a similar temperament to Willie Randolph.  I guess I shouldn't be complaining, I am a Phillies fan.

The Yankees are FINALLY turning it around....and they lose Wang!  For 6 weeks!!

This could kill.....hopefully their offense stays hot and their starting to steady pitching will stay.

Wang is in a CAST for 6 weeks, probably at least another 2 or 3 to rehab afterwards.

But FIVE OVER FIVE HUNDRED!

Did ya hear what Hank Steinbrenner had to say about this? It is about time that the National League get in the 21st Century and use the DH. Forget that having a pitcher bat does add strategy into the game. I realize that most pitchers can't hit and the DH adds offense to the game but I enjoy NL baseball, as well as the double switch when a manager uses it.

We all know that the Royals are going to finish dead last; but, there is something SO sweet about beating the Cardinals the first two games of the series in St. Louis. No Dekinger, so who will they blame?Big%20smile

And it continues...as they just pulled ahead of the Padres.
I think it's happened, the Yankees have FINALLY gotten on the roll they need. If there offense stays hot, and pitching continues to steady, I think they can make it by without Wang.

And speaking of the current game, I feel bad for the Padres catcher. Everyone of the Yanks is stealing like crazy on them

Yeah, but he's not as bad as that Texas catcher, Salamandadrogawhatever.  He's caught one man stealing out of something like 36 attempts this season.

They posted a video of my cousin wearing a mic during practice. It's in the video section.

they look good against the bottom feeders in the frickin NL ...  we'll see how they look against the better teams in their own division.. like the Rays.. who were going for the sweep tonight against  the best team in the majors...

without Wang... they won't even make the playoffs.. but we are talking about the Yankees LOL... they will buy  a replacement for him.

Wurd on the street is that they're eying CC, whose contract expires at the end of the year.

And sure they played bad teams, but that's how teams get turned around.  A month ago with Jorge and A-Rod on the DL they certainly wouldn't have swept the Astros and the Padres.
