The STC guys probably smell better than I do, given I was out all night drinking cheap wine and sitting in a haze of passive smoke. And body odour too, yummmmy.

That little bluesy thing I do right before I stop? Yeaaaah. Cool I don't know why I played that, it just came to me.

Unless that's not what you're talking about. But honestly, besides that, the song doesn't really have any melodies.

Not knowing what the hell you're talking about, makes this thread a bit dull for me.

How communistic/socialistic do you need to be to be considered part of the Red/Scarlet Army?

At least a little bit.

(To be honest, I only agree with about 50% of the principles of communism.)

Pretty fair to say I only agree with about 40-50 per cent of the principles of communism, so perhaps you guise didn't win a victory by scaring off guys that agree with you.
Given the fall of the USSR and China having to somewhat democratize and become more capitalistic to fit into the new world, many of the economic principles of communism don't cut it for me.

Agree 100 per cent with the first 3, but perhaps a little less on the 4th point.
I tend to think in order to be able to come closer to realistically achieving the first 3, there must be some emphasis on society over the individual in some areas. Privatize everything and you might see prices of previously state owned goods/services drop, but in many cases inevitable need for greed can see prices swing the other way, effectively cutting the very poor off from even some very essential things.
I've always like the idea of capitalism being tempered by socialistic values, examples being free health care, education etc, just generally a good mix of state and privately owned enterprise.

That's my inner anarchist speaking. My whole 'screw society, I'm living with wolves' personality. LOL

I'd delve futher into my individual vs. society banter, but I don't know if I have the philosophical fortitude to do so right before dinner.

I've tried to read up on anarchism, but I just couldn't get into it to be honest

Fair enough. Post something in a political thread sometime though, I'd be interested in what you've got to say about it.

Apparently, I fail at communism. However, I'm a good anarchist.
