I never saw the point either. He only really uses his latest signature model (single neck)anyway, he barely uses the 4 neck.

By far the best mult-neck of all time was McLaughlin's Double Rainbow or w/e.  It's a shame he only used it for two or three years before he somehow slightly damaged it and so abandoned it forever.
