"Garbage" can't compete with that.

Just finished that, and I've got to say that I enjoyed a load of it, and now think it's a very good song/composition. I still think it could have been arranged a bit more punchily and neatly.
Now, I know I'm going to enjoy the rest of the album.

I find the rest of Relayer kinda lame.
Back to the Magma discussion, my mom actually uses the term "God music". She thinks Vander's squeals are like tongues.

Gates of Delerium is pretty good (though vastly inferior to CttE, obviously), and the other two are boredomsville.

I've heard some Penguin Cafe Orchestra but I don't remember how it sounded. Same with French TV and Hamster Theatre and whatever other avant bands with silly names

Uh...drums I guess? We could record to a click-track I suppose, but that would make transitioning between sections tedious. I think it would probably be easiest if Shakes drummed along with the original song on headphones (if that's possible) so that we have a fairly exact copy of the song's drum part to work with and we don't go back "OH NOEZ SHAKES MISSED A BAR" and have to start over or something.

Dan has a high voice from what I know. He didn't go extremely high on our folky Stalin-tune, but we can see, I guess. Myself, I have a cold right now.
