lol I gave up trying to manipulate the noise track to such a degree, so what you're hearing are very low quality drum samples on the DPCM channel. the noise channel is still free to go zowwwwwwwwswooooshskreeeeee

I could have worked on STC stuff tonight but instead I learned Metroid music.  I can play Brinstar, lower Norfair, and the item-gaining-theme-thingy now.  Totally worth it.
