The Royals deserve some sort of luck. They have not been much of a team since the George Brett days. Management is to blame for that one. They got a nice stadium,a loyal but small fanbase. But sadly they will always be second to the Cardinals in Missouri.

Maybe so, but it wasn't the case in 1985. Big%20smile

Fresno, eh? I came really close to having to fly out there for  a photo shoot this coming week. Instead I'm flying off to Atlanta.

What RD22 said. We were wanting to shoot around the Monterey area (love that part of Cali), but ran out of luck. So Fresno/Clovis was a possibility, but that closed up. Now, it's Atlanta; but, at least I get to see my bro and stay with him for a couple of days.

Hope to make it out your way. Got a buddy of mine in Fresno.

Hopefully, last night's game will get the Tigers turned around.  They came back from 5-0 and 9-4 deficits to beat the Twins 11-9 last night and all of the big guns finally contributed.  Fingers crossed.

Still early in the year but......*gasp* Pittsburgh is above .500. Could they break the consecutive streak?

And both wins were of the Cleveland Indians come from behind in the last at-bat variety.  Maybe, just maybe, they are starting to get the ship turned around.  Although, Cleveland is not playing very well right now either, the next two games being head-to-head match-ups might be an indication of where this season might be heading.

Part of Cleveland's problem could be their closer Borowski. He's on the DL now and they are going with Betancourt.

I'm out of town at the moment, so having to keep up with the Royals from the road. A win against the Angels in Anaheim surprises me. I thought for sure we'd lose that first game.

I hate to see the Tigers winning because that means our division will be tougher; but, glad to see you as fans finally enjoying the season.

no we have absolutely nobody in our bullpen. and our starters have been mediocre at best. our pitching bloooows. But when we get granderson back we should have the most feared batting lineup in the AL so hopefully we can balance out that little handicap.

It is all of baseball at the moment. There are very few games being played in the first part of the season that could be called pitchers duels. It could be the lack of quality pitching or it could be the fact that the strike zone appears to go from the knee to the belt buckle. It is an hitters pitching zone these days. I would like to see the numbers and see if total runs scored have gone up for the games that have been played.

Cards lose in 12 to the BrewCrew. Interesting game to say the least. It is going to be a good year.
