So Jesu are finally approved? It seemed like they were rejected numerous times... Anyway, they're fantastic and I'm glad to see them here! As far as Daturah, I haven't heard Reverie, but their previous record is pretty good. Not great, but good. |

Jesu huh? I got their album conqurer, and though it is a nice change of pace, they're a bit boring. Not enough ation, and the vocalist isnt very exciting. I havent listened to it in a while, I shoul probably give them another chance.
Just got Reverie, but havent listened yet, I'll be sure to do it tonight.

Yeah Jesu are pretty much straight up atmosphere and not much more, but they're so good at it. Layers and layers and layers of sweet sweet harmonies and undertones.
The Silver EP is their best work IMO. |

Actually, if I wanted to split hairs, I would actually admit that Jesu really aren't that progressive at all... they're really just a very heavy version of old-school shoegazers like MBV or Slowdive, rather than spaced out prog metal.
But I don't want to split hairs, so it's all good! |

Don't know about that logic, but This Is Our Punk Rock was my favorite until I heard Horses In The Sky. So you there's a big chance that you'll like it. |

Tis a great band indeed. I have two of their albums and I enjoy their music once in a while, but they're music's a bit too samey for me. It's quite sad because I enjoy their albums, but after I'm finished listening to it I'm not even thinking in playing them again for a while. Still, I like the atmosphere their albums have. |

I'll listen to Reverie later tonight. I really enjoyed their debut, like I said in my review. It's very spaced out and I specially listen to it at night. I'm looking forward to this release. |

I really enjoy Bossk's debut EP, but Bossk II was a disappoint and was insanely short. What's their first album like?
Also, for someone who likes Bossk, who else would I likely be a fan of? Bear in mind I prefer the heavier side of post- and find some post-rock a little dull at times. I have a Pelican album and The Pax Cecilia's Blessed Are the Bonds (which I really enjoy!) and am after other suggestions that aren't too repetitive. I want variety here guys. |

Well let's take a guess at what I might recommend here.
Cheval de Frise, who would have thought!?!
Good fit for you James, great and not very mainstream
