Be careful with those nasty reviews, Ian...the mouse police never sleeps...if u 'now wot i mean

Don't worry about those bands, guys.  He has all of those bands covered. Wink

If all of you don't already know, Burritounit is also from Puerto Rico.  He's my best friend when talking about music and we exchange a lot of bands and ideas ever since I got him into Post-Rock and Prog when we were in high school.

As you can see, he also caught the Battles fever! Big%20smile

seriously Ian, you'd better delete your "13 Blues..." review. More than month left for it's official release, and a Collab review on YET UNRELEASED ALBUM may cause some problems (I believe). And while review is good, I think you should give the album few more spins. It's Post-Rock after all

I probably should, but I doubt my opinion will change. I was waiting to hear another album to base my opinions off of, and it turns out that horses in the sky is probably gonna be a four star album, from the first listen.

I'll delete it eventually, but save it...

indeed, I was to give it 4 stars at first as well (few acoustic-only songs are not so astonishing), but lately "God Bless...", "...Bells" and "Mountains..." have grown SO immensely on me, that I'll probably give it full 5 stars

Anyone here has  The Pretty Little Lightning Paw EP?

If you like "Horses In The Sky" and "This Is Our Punk Rock..." then you'll probably like this one. It has their rockiest song yet (More Action! Less Tears!) and the eerie, yet groovy,  "Microphones In The Trees".

The deteriorated sound quality adds a lot to the atmosphere of the EP.  Get it if you're a fan. Thumbs%20Up

Ruben, the vocals wern't terrible, per say. It wasn't a bad album, just very average. It left a little bit to be desired, which might be a good thing because I'm feeling inclined to try their other stuff.

We Vs. Death - We Are Too Concerned / We Too Are Concerned

Smile Free legal MP3s

I honestly don't hear any math rock in their sound, but the album's pretty decent. The trumpet adds something nice to the music, but nothing new.  The music sounded a bit uninspiring... t's been a while since I last heard so I might change my mind about them.

i agree a little bit with the uninspired sound. It is nice to listen to though and if i were to rate it it would probably get three stars. give or take.
you really dont hear the math rock? hmmmm. well it wasnt meant to be a literal tag on the band, they arnt math rock but its just the general vibe i get. lol that and lounge music.

I won't mind if you at least give me credit for it in your sig. Please. Smile
