Oh yeah, I know about 65... I just don't listen to them that often. I'm sure everyone knows about EITS? did I mention Tides? I can't remember and I can't look at what I posted right now. Does anyone know of Kayo Dot? I can't remember if I saw that posted or not, it's for fans of Maudlin.... I will listen to your music. Yeah I can see what you mean about Irepress.
Blah, blah blah blah, blah blahblahblah.... Blah.

Sorry for the 509341598345 posts in a row but I forgot to mention Benoit Pioulard and CBP. Yeah, I figured that fans of these genres would like them. Yeah, Angel Eyes are good huh?

Crippled Black Phoenix for instance, i think could be considered progressive. They seem way more deserving then some of the more simplistic/conventional rock style bands in the archives. They're supposively coming out with a new album this year, hopefully it will give more confirmation of their progressiveness. (their first album was one of my fav. releases last year.)

I Love EITS, almost as much as bolding half of your posts.

Tides, are okay, but if you want to listen to a band like them, but far better check out Omega Massif.

Kayo dot, for me are hard for me to get into.

They may deserve a place here more than some bands, but do they deserve a place here judging by their sound and their sound only?

Their album's quite long, but I like their sound. A bit more focus will do them good, in my opinion.

Yeah my thoughts do jump around a lot, it makes it hard to talk to people because half the time they don't get the same connection to subjects that I do. I will look for omega. Kayo dot are hard to get into for a lot of people. anybody hear anything about mikael akerfeldt and the drummer from dream theater and the keyboardist from porcupine tree doing a side project? I heard about that a long time ago but nothing of them actually releasing anything. I also think dream theater is lame but thats just my opinion; have not listened to porcupine tree much, most of what I have heard I don't like.
Blah, blah blah blah, blah blahblahblah.... Blah.

Oh, I am looking for "sludge metal" something that focuses on chord progression and such not just static riffage and the old damn recipe of slow then faster then slow. I am going to go play guitar now.
Blah, blah blah blah, blah blahblahblah.... Blah.

Reading your posts is like talking to a guy I know who does a lot of speed.

And the side project your talking about is a supposed future collaboration between Akerfeldt,Mike Portnoy and Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree(he's the guys who sings, plays guitar, and writes most of the musicTongue).

They're a hell of a lot easier to get into than say Varèse, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, or Devil Doll.

I discovered Do Make Say Think recently when I got their most recent album last month.  It's very good, very mellow and happy! Clap I also ordered Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn and You are There by Mono, but I'm still waiting for them.

You are there is good, but the music is a little typical and uninspired, a three star for me.

Just wait till you get a hold of "& Yet & Yet" and more importantly "Goodbye Enemy Airship. The Landlord is Dead" which is one of my top 5 post-rock albums ever.

Sadly, Do Make Say Think discussions aren't very common here in PA.Disapprove
