Topic: Best TRUE metal... Posted: January 11 2008 at 02:00 |
In light of the other metal polls which sucked, I decided to test the waters of progarchives to see what flavor of True Kult Necrolords of dark frozen wastelands reside hereabouts. Name your favorite album if you please.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Sames as the other "sucky" polls. Judas Priest. Favorite albums from them British Steel and Sin After Sin.

I'll head the voting for Burzum. Filosofem's my favourite metal thing not titled Amplifier Worship.

^^ The T, we need the ULTIMATE OF THE MOST ULTIMATE METAL THAT IS TRUE METAL poll me thinks. The poll list should be at least double the size of this poll. if not triple.

There's a whole lot missing, but of those listed, I'm going to have to go with Death.
I'm sure nobody will agree with me, but...Chuck Schindler was really, really good and wrote some incredibly heavy and techical music.

^^While not my favourite band, Death's importance and influence on metal in general is often overlooked. Chuck was an amazing musician in all aspects, a great virtuoso and metal composer.

"Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" by Burzum is the most beautiful black metal song I've ever heard next to Alcest's work.
