they are both totally empty!!! in France, JMJ music is a big shame, ridiculous recordings for TV shows and commercials

Both albums were a big part of my introduction to music as a teenager.
Always liked Equinox a little more though. Magnetic Fields is ok as well.
Lost interest in JMJ from Zoolook onwards when i discovered Tangerine
Dream via Underwater Sunlight.

Dragon Phoenix: Oxygene four starts, Equinoxe three.
Me: I think both are 5 stars but Equinoxe is my absolute favorite.

Oxygene: 0 stars
Equinoxe: 0 stars
Catastrophic synthetic music...just awful and terribly commercial. The worst exemple in the genre with Vangelis, TD (since the last decade)

"Oxygene" set the pace and "Equinox" gave it a solid trend - that same trend became gradually enriched by "Magnetic Fields "and the amazing "Concerts in China", the most intensely prog-related Jarre's recording ever.
Regards.
