Topic: Britanny Spears vs Nirvana Posted: January 04 2008 at 13:23 |
Hmmm.... I think Nirvana are highly underrated. I'm voting for them. Plus, unlike Britanny, Curt can play guitar...

Erm... I hate to break this to ya, but Kurt hasn't been able to play the guitar for almots 14 years. It's not easy to be a musician when you're dead.

Nirvana can't compete with Brit's latest progressive epic, "Gimme More", and it's profound lyrics that would make even Peter Hammill bow his head in praise:
"Gimme gimme more, gimme more, gimme gimme more" <Repeat ad nauseum>

As a companion (like being stuck on a deserted island with) I have to choose BS because she's a girl. Or a woman. Whatever.

Even though he's dead? That's quite a feat. I guess put it this way, Cobain plays better guitar dead than Brittney does alive.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

mmm, seriously, there's no comparison. This poll is ridiculous.
And anyway, even as a companion I think Britney (not BRITANNY, that attempt to show you despise her is hundred years old...) loses the poll... did you see what happened to her last night? She had to be strapped down to a gurney... at least Cobain commit a classy suicide, not in front of the whole world....

You lot should read "Who Killed Kurt Cobain?", pretty interesting book and if half the things in it are true then I doubt he did shoot himself.
Im not a fan, though I used to be.. It's still a good book

One of my friend's is a huge conspiracy theorist and always spouts off the "OMG liek Kurt couldn't shoot himself with a shotgun!!!!" despite the fact that Dead from Mayhem committed suicide with a shotgun blast to the head (the aftermath of which can be seen on the cover art for the album "Dawn of the Black Hearts")...

Possibly sillier than than the John Petrucci Vs God poll, except that at least had a really talented person that you could pick. The mind boggles as to whether Britney or Kurt were any better than each other, both appalling IMO.

Who cares who killed Kurt? He died after a few mediocre CDs loved by middle-school "punks," solidifying his legacy as a guitarist good enough to get a freakin decent spot on RollingStone's top guitarists list. And that's all that really matters, anyway.
