But it could well be that he just wanted to amend the album entry because this one has only titles but no musicians and inadvertently sent it as a review.

Errrm.... the album is due in just under 2 months and only available for pre-order, how can this 'review' exist??? Not to mention the 11 ratings without review... Here we go again folks.

Ayreon, once more.

http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=154828

I put out an e-mail to Arjen Lucassen and posted a question on Progressive Ears, there is a rumour about a promo of the full album going around. If that's true, we'll have to be careful with this, otherwise, all reviews until January 27th are bollocks.

@Micky: you're welcome Wink

Here's the text, review removed meanwhile.

Edit - Someone has kindly done it already.Big%20smile

Another review of Ayreon's still unreleased album (from a Prog Reviewer!): http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=155268.

EDIT: and three ratings without reviews, it seems.

There is actually a promo copy of Ayreon's new album going around, Folly told me himself he had an opportunity to snag one.

Just thought I'd let you know.

^That's why Bob is checking, Shakespeare. There's another two RwRs on the album now, next to the one review.

Scroll down...to the two bottom-most reviews. They are informative, but two different albums deserve at least a few different sentences!

ANALOGY — Analogy
Review by thurnmithoff

4%20stars It is not for me to write a review of my own music. I'd just like to point out two things:

1. The album cover shown does not match the CD/LP portrayed here. It is the cover of a later album entitled THE SUITE, recorded in 1980 and published by Ohrwaschl Records, Munich. The correct album cover would show the band in the nude in the middle of a meadow. 2. Analogy is often portrayed as a Swiss band. Although we played a lot of gigs in Switzerland, the band was Italian as far as organisation, management and record label was concerned. Four of the five/six members were of German origin but lived and worked in Italy. The remaining members (Mauro Rattaggi and Nikola Pankaoff) were Italians to such a degree that they couldn't speak a word of German or indeed English for that matter.

This is not a review, just a comment from a band member about necessary changes.

This particular review I find largely inappropriate...

http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=30139

The reasons are that the reviewer mentions that Vincent Canavagh is not still in the band (!!!) and that he hears a mix of doom metal and alternative (!!!). He has not probably listened to the album once.

With all the respect for the reviewer, this is just not fair:

http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=155587 and
http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=7195
(he didn't even bothered to remove the last paragraph).

Two different issues deserve more than just a copy/paste.
