Topic: Ayreon New Album details "01011001" Posted: October 10 2007 at 20:52 |
New details including the title and confirmed vocalists for the new album can
be found at the following link:
The album is scheduled to be released in January 2008. The album release "build up" is certainly making this a highly anticipated work among fans globally, of Arjen's incredible musicianship. I can hardly wait until January .

^ Yes - incredibly exciting - even the not so well known vocalists have great voices. I think some of the sound bites from each vocalist are still available on the main
Ayreon home page.
As far as I know - Jonas P Renske from Katatonia is still with us!!!!

Not too excited about the dude from Evergrey- (the reason I stopped listening to them was the vocals) and Daniel? (Mr. anti US) Everyone else though?

One of the main reasons I'm looking forward to it is because of the guy from Evergrey. I love his vocals. Him and Daniel Gildenlow should be awesome!

What I would like to see on this album would be the Vocalist from Sleepytime.

I'm disappointed - neither of these players are avant-garde!
Al di Meola.

I've heard Evergrey onlt once and they didn't catch my hear. Seemed to be your usual boring and rather pointless prog-metal band, and Englund didn't shine as something special at all, but I think that his sample of the new Ayreon album is great! Caught me in a second. The line-up is very impressive. My anticipations for this release are very high. (and Daniel Gildenlow! )

Englund and Renske. Two great vocalists from two really great bands. Should be an album well worth waiting for.

I'm excited, Simone is a great singer from a terrible band. I went to the Kamelot show where Epica opened for Kamelot and they didn't do so hot, Simone's the only good quality with the band.
And Evergrey's and Katonia's singer will be quite interesting. I find that interesting that Arjen is using the guy to growl, I remember hearing a little bit of it from his first album (I think that's the album he growled on), I like the newer less harsher vocals but all is well.
Didn't really know much of the others, heard of them but haven't heard them. Blind Guardian should be cool, and from the few samples I did hear this'll be exciting. A lot of vocalists, but knowing Arjen, we're in good hands.

I once was cool, but now I'm cold. Can you please turn up the heat.
