I didn't even need to look at your personal information to tell that you're not from Canada...

Well, it's true, (at least here). Maybe it's only where I live? But I NEVER hear about the NHL anymore. I used to be a pretty big Rangers fan, and now I don't even know when the season starts/ends.
Go Yanks

People are still crazy enthused for the season to start here. Hell, people have been excited for it to start since playoffs ended last year. But anyway, back to baseball.
Um.....go....team.

You do still HAVE the Blue Jays, it's just that they aren't worthy of cheering.

It's a sport that's really popular in America and Japan, but virtually non-existant in Europe. Kind of like American Football, in that it is better than soccer and whatever else you play in the UK.

And baseball is making a comeback now, at least I think so.
Personally, this year is the most excited I've been in a while. Even
when the yanks were fighting to make .500 I was watching games.

LOL Glavine threw a mere .1 innings (he got only a single Marlin out!) for 7 runs (all earned!). That's a hella bad day!
And now the Mets have but 3 outs separating them from not making the playoffs.

I'm happy for the Phillies - maybe they can even advance to the NLCS, but I won't hold my breath.
