A really hard choice because they were all incredible and unique.

Exactly, they were all unique and talented. Difficult indeed. But I cast my lot with Belew.

I picked Wetton, but ya know, Crimson has had two other frontmen that you failed to list: Haskell and Burrell, both of whom I liked as well. ![Confused](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif) I would list them as follows:
1. Wetton
2. Lake
3. Haskell
4. Burrell
5. Belew

What about using the search function sometimes? There are about 100 polls on the same topic around ![Unhappy](smileys/smiley6.gif) .... Anyway, for me, Lake, Wetton and Belew in that order. Burrell wasn't too bad, but Haskell was just unspeakable.

Belew was cool for Crimson's "new wave" period, but I find it hard to believe he is still in the band. He seems like a nice guy, and he is very talented, but he just doesn't fit with the whole Crimson sturm n drang bit.

Lake is very good on the first album, and Wetton is my favourite Crimson vocalist, but I've never seen them live. I HAVE seen the double trio with Belew at the helm, and their concert tour DVD has only confirmed my opinion that Belew is a very likeable artist. O.K., he DOES get on your nerves sometimes, but he's an excellent frontman, he plays fantastic guitar, and he's even (co-)written some of the most sensitive ever KC ballads, e.g. "One Time" and "Walking on Air". So it's Belew for me!

Wetton, of course, for his overlookable "instrumental" muffled singing and bass fury. I think that although I appreciate Belew's guitar techniques, he tries too hard to sing, his lyrics are stupid and I don't care about vocals in crimso... and Greg Lake is literally my least favourite prog musician, and he single-handedly ruins most of ITCOTCK for me, not to mention the music of ELP.

I like Lake the most cause of his voice...Belew certainly took Crimson's frotman position and did the best job though...

I'll go with Wetton; however, Belew isn't too bad. The Power To Believe is still my favorite.

As a frontman? No contest against Belew.

Odd one. Epitath is my favorite KC song, Power To Believe is probably my favorite KC album, but Wetton is my favorite KC singerist.

None of them is a frontman... Gabriel is a frontman, Plant is a frontman, Dickinson is a frontman... these are musicians that sing, not frontmans

^ Dude, your mentions are showmen...... a frontman is a dude who is just able to face the people while on stage.

Still, the concept of frontman is a singer... these are bass and guitar players that sing... with the exception of Lake, he really is a singer

^ In that case, I find Belew or Wetton way more worthy of be called singers than Lake. OF course that's just me.....
