It's not some specifical diacritics. It's the process which is annoying, since I have to rewrite all the diacritics.

I can do it myself, but it'll take ages. If I hadn't those settings problems, it'd took seconds. That's all...

Thanks, Guigo!

By the way, is it possible to move this thread to the "Errors & Omissions" section?

I think it'll be more helpful there.

Thanks in advance.

Eugene

Done! Smile

BTW, I think we have to find a standard for the bands' names, some are all in capital letters and some (the majority) have only the initial as capital. Anyway, some bands like UK or IZZ, maybe should be displayed in all capitals.

Thanks! (already appeared in the edit of my previous post)

Yes, maybe. The differences exist now, but they are possible to be seen only in editing zone, not in the alphabet pages and bands/artists ones. Thus, how many of the site users know that the Armenian Prog-Folk band lead by Vahan Artsruni is called ARTSRUNI and not Artsruni? -- it is impossible to see from the mentioned pages (I found that simply by chance...) Somehow all the letters become upper-cased when appearing in alphabet lists...

I suppose there are bands with the same or similar names that are not prog and thus are not in the archives. That's the case of NIRVANA for instance. Smile

Of course this is the case, there shouldn't be any doubt about it.

But still, I don't think we need it unless the other band (say, Nirvana of the USA) is added to PA...

If both the name and the years of activity are the same, you may put a subgenre as a determinator...

If we have two bands with the same name from the same country, there should be another determinators (or how do you say it in English?).

For example, there are two Camels in PA, differentiated by the years of activity:
CAMEL Symphonic Prog United Kingdom
CAMEL (60'S) Psychedelic/Space Rock United Kingdom

(these two entries should be updated too, I think...)

There is another example:
LEVIATHAN (ITA) Neo Progressive Italy
LEVIATHAN (USA 70S) Crossover Prog United States
LEVIATHAN (USA 90S) Progressive Metal United States

BTW, how would you solve the case of IRON MAIDEN? We've got one IRON MAIDEN from UK and we're probably going to have another band with the same name from the same country (or do we have them already?).
