You didn't tell me I'd have a 27 minute talk box kazoo solo, I'm back in.

Too late, I already quit. I started the John Barleycorn Must Die Project. We're going to kill John Barleycorn you see. Very progressive.

That's not progressive; that song's a few hundred years old!

...No, I meant we're going to find John Barleycorn and kill him. He's practically begging for it, the asshole.

I know, but it's still not progressive, as the idea of killing John Barleycorn was introduced in the 1700's.

Yes, but we're going to kill him, and add in some mellotrons. See now?

You should have mentioned the 'trons.  NOW it's a progressive idea!

...Hmm, now there's an actual idea worth pursuing. Taking some of the most unlikely songs, and sticking a mellotron into the background, then selling it off as our own material.

Reminds me of an old plan to slip the "Aqualung" solo into a bunch of soft rock tunes...

Sorry lads, but I've been in an actual band as of late...sadly, it's been about as organized as the Noobs. However, I do feel that my internet band background should be very useful in leading us on an epic quest towards pretention and commercial obscurity that no one else in the band seems to want...oh well.

It'll be about this band who used to be the only band in town but then another band comes and upstages them and now everyone sees that they're actually the worst band ever.  We'll call it The Rise and Fall of Whist and the M00dy N3wbs.

Ah yes, the infamous solo projects... How's that rock opera about the sweaty bus driver who finds true love with a can of mustard going anyway?

Besides, some critics have argued that most Noobs albums released after 1982 have been, in essence, Whistler solo projects. That's crazy talk, of course. Now, work slaves! WORK! BWA-HA-HA-HA!!!
