The snare is a brand-new Bruford signature snare, and the cymbals are just Sabian (one Zildian), but the rest of the set (hardware, skin, shells) were owned and played by Bruford himself at a drum clinic in Ottawa that I attended.

Except for the double bass. I also have a Yamaha acoustic 5 piece with one hi-hat and one cymbal.

It's not the size or look that matters, It's how you use it

HEY! I spent $3200 on that hunk a junk.
Besides, it's half new. The snare and cymbals are mine.

Sometime last November, I think it was, at a church in downtown Ottawa where he hosted the drum clinic. There are actually 2 low quality videos of the clinic on youtube, if you do a search with keywords "Bruford" or "Drum Clinic" and "Ottawa" you'll find it.

I've seen some of those drum clinic videos on YouTube. Have you seen Bruford and the Beat? Some instructional video he made in the 80's (or with his 80's kit anyways), and quite interesting stuff. I don't even play drums and I was interested.

Rings a bell, but I don't think I've seen the videos. Anyway, I'm off to leave earth, being escorted by an Arvo Part album. Ciao/chow!
