Maybe VdGG one day, but so far i've only heard 3 albums. But really, my absolute favourite band is the Comus that recorded "First Utterance". Too bad they never made any more. (and don't say "to keep from crying", you know what i'm talking about.)

Of all artists I listen to, Rush tops the charts. I am a huge fan of the band.

gah...that's as hard as a room full of porn actors.. i'd have to say Pink floyd, because they opened my eyes to a new realm of music, one that captured the imagination like nothing else had before. now i know it as 'prog', but at the time it was like finding MY sound.

Van der Graaf Generator. Or maybe Univers Zéro, but they're kind of beyond Prog (as is Art Zoyd and other Chamber Rock stuff).

Rush now. About 2 years or so ago (when I got into prog) It would have been Floyd because they were the first prog band I listened to, but now I can't get enough of Rush.
