As far as rap goes. Some older school rap is pretty cool. Some Rappers really have a gift to spit Like Danger Doom (MF doom), Lyrics Bourne and such.

let's see....what hatred can I spew right now....it really takes a LOT for me to absolutely hate a band....I'd have to say the one band that makes me reach for the dial is Nickelback. I know they're just another Pearl Jam ripoff, but they've pioneered the art of being generic and mass song producing...I think I hate them more than their music

Nickelback
Hootie and the Blowfish
Creed
Days of the New
White Stripes
The Counting Crows
Tripping Daisies
ALL Gangster rappers
These really get me ticking. I could name more, but I'll stick with those.
See, I used to work in a record store in the 90's and was therefore exposed to so much crap I could barely stand it.

Man! You have quite a good taste for the stuff you hate!
Of all of these atrocities, Hootie and The Blowfish are just.... I don't know... Can't describe them... All their songs are the same!

I agree with mostly everything named here... I'd like to add Five For Fighting, he really irritates me.

I quite liked The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy - sort of a 1990's hiphop/rap Fear of a Blank Planet.

One band in particular I cannot tolerate...
AC/DC!
However, worse than them, are The Libertines/Babyshambles, Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight, The Kooks (I think...), The Fratellis, Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, The Flaming Lips, Ween and the very very rubbish My Chemical Romance!
Oh and non-rock... I despise Dolly Parton.

Hey!!! Since when is a blowjob as boring and monotonous as Hottie's music?
A Nipplecrack, on the other hand, just doesn't sound right....
Intersting, none mentions Limp Biskit or Fred Durst... i see a secret love in all proggies' hearts...

Hmm, totally forgot about LB and Linkin Park... but to be honest, I'vo only heard a few songs from each band and thought it better for my mental health not to investigate further.
Oh, and while we're at it, you can add every boys band that ever existed, as well as all the modern day Madonna wannabees (Spears, Lohan, Simpson and all the rest of those wenches...)

As long as you DO NOT DARE add the princess of Australian pop (she's as old as madonna anyway) to the mix, I wholeheartedly agree......
