have approx 400 vinyl and approx 500 CDs and Cassettes. I did have more CD's and vinyl but they have "disappeared" with moving location over the years, unfortunately. If we also count digital downloads eg: iTunes - I could add another 20 albums to the total.Smile

I only own about 60 cd's, i am a poor young student, so there isn't much i can do to change it. However i have a good friend with ok music tastes from who i can borrow albums to copy to my computer, mostly non-prog though..But if i were rich,  don't get me starting.. my wishlist is huge, but well, I guess i'll just have to wait..

^ depending on whether you live in a country where Napster is available I'd recommend either this to you (Napster.com subscription) or eMusic.com.Smile

Hey, who mentioned Diamanda Galas? I actually listened to some tracks from the Divine Punishment, and it's... goddam evil. This is the evillest sounding thing I've ever heard. Wow :O

I think at last count I had about 150 something CD's plus one vinyl in perfect condition. Approve my goal is to reach the 200 mark by 2008.
My entertainment dollar is burning in my pocket!

But anyways, the local stores are crap. I won't buy mainstream records ( I don't know about you guys). And that's all they got here.

Than be the first and open your prog CD shop.

By the way I was on Malta (in Sliema) on my wedding trip in 1988. Very nice place to live. Clap

My collection is about 700 Cd's, about 300 originals and around 180 DVD's (just 10 original Embarrassed)

That kind of thing passes through my mind occasionally. But nobody would buy prog records here hah. The market is small you know, we're just 400,000 people here.

I have anywhere from 120-200 vinyl LP's, and around 350-400 cd's, I think.

I have right now 435 rock cds (about 400 prog, which means they're listed here in PA) and 150 classical, plus around 30 of various genres (mostly newage/jazz/popEmbarrassed)....

The bad thing is, the addiction doesn't stop.... but the credit does....Big%20smileLOL

Wow, according to this poll, a plurality (and almost half!) of PA users have over 500 albums. That's a lot of music.

I have 67 CDs, including the Zeppelin and others that I never listen to and if double albums count as two. But I have 91 abums on my iPod: I love eMusic and people who put their albums up for free.

I think i've got about 30 or so (estimation) actually bought cd's, whic were all at least 10 bucks, grrrrrrr. I'm poor now! Besides that, I have a host of copies from friends ans such. I've got maybe 60 or more albums total, it's all the greats though...yes, elp, king crimson, genesis, floyd, tull, gentle giant, RETURN TO FOREVER, etc. I'm working my way out from the essentials and my known favourites. Currently getting into vandergraaf gen. My father has a hugely extensive collection though, which i'm free to copy any of (cd's anyway). Most of it is non-prog though on cd's. Much of his prog is vinyl. My collection will be huge once I have money!!!
for those about to prog, we salute you.
