Thyme for me! And for you? You can vote for more than one.

Culinary speaking, of all those you mentioned in your list, none are called spices, but all are herbs (Carvi/caraway being a seed).
I like them all, too
Spice are peppers, salts, cinnamon, cloves and such

Tarragon, absolutely. I put it in almost everything nowadays, that and fried onion.
I started cooking myself 6 months ago when I moved out, and so it's been possible to try out every spice I wan't to. Most of all I use salt, then tarragon or basil. Oh, and I always put dill on fish, especially white fish.
A bit of basil & paprika is great on minced meat, or fatless meat, add it during cooking when the meat is almost done, so the taste sucks into them. tarragon, well, it's best with pork or salmon imo. Add when raw and enjoy the delicious scent. Also, onions, cut in big pieces, roll over a but in flour to make them a bit dryer, not too much though. Then add tarragon and heat the pan. Put lots of virgin oil. When the oil is piffing, pour the onions on it, and let the flour on them suck in the golden oil and fry until you sense the scent that you can't resist anymore :)
