Great sounding albums (CD)

Here's the result of some tests performed on audiophile systems with many different releases. So here are some of the best sounding CDs from my collection. This is not an exhaustive list of course and i'll enrich it regularly.

These Cds are not perfect sounding -we're on numeric- but they are among the best sounding in the "rock" area.

-Joplin/ Pearl Columbia legacy 2005 superb double mini LP with bonus and the full Festival express concert 1970.

-It's a beautiful day (San Francisco sound 11790DA).

I was just reminding that Cd can't be pefect cause by essence it's numeric and it can't match the vinyl.

Oliver, by "overbumped," do you mean the master volume is too high, to the point of clipping?  I'm no audiphile, so I'm not really familiar with the terms.

The Daevid Allen's Sacred geometry are good.

Thanks for that article. Bump low is false low. It's like the frog which tries to be as big as the beef.
It's not real low, not tight, quick and deep. It dribbles and it gets the ears tired.

I'd like to recommend some modern CDs too:

The Traffic 2002 remasters are not bad.
