I just want you guys to know that I just discovered this thread today and read through the first 15 or 20 pages and completely laughed my ass off the whole time. I just got divorced after 16 yrs (she didn't like prog!) and I really needed a laugh. You guys gave me plenty.

Can I be president of your fan club?

Wait a minute.  Whistler!  Did you drink it all... Again!?!?!?!?!?!

Why I oughta murder you.

And to Walker...

If you only got 20 pages in, I think you missed our (read: MY) masterpiece:

I Know What I Like (In Some Other Guy's Wardrobe)

Never mind, I checked.  You would have seen it, and therefore you know the essence of the noobs.

Sorry 'bout the wife.

We never officially instated you, so you can't quit.

Instead, you must join against our wishes.  And then quit.

I did that for about 30 pages before I joined. Welcome to the club.

And I quit because it is getting crowded in here.

We already all play uke.

And the band already does progressive acoustic death metal...

So we should play all their music, but in the style of:

regressive acoustic death WOOD!

I have now read the entire thread (all 96 pages). I see that Falling Flower got to you first. Since I can't quit because I was never officially instated, I join the band against your will. As a concession to the fact that its against your will, I will play whatever instrument you deem necessary. So there!

I could do that. I'm a virtuoso at waving my hands in the air (just ask my recently departed wife!) LOL.

I have decided that I want a solo spot for theremin during the show in order for the band to show off its newest member. It should rise out of the floor on a pedestal amidst a billowing cloud of dry ice whilst I change into a sparkly codpiece. Whaddya think?

I could wave my codpiece around suggestively to activate the theremin. IT could get us banned and would be great publicity.
