I'd like to report an unappropriate thread. Can I?

I don't know... maybe it could fit in the Get The Word Out forum. There's a free market zone already in action there. Confused

Going to check anyway.

Oh, it's been closed soon after I reported it. Quick action.

PORCUPINE TREE — Stupid Dream
Review by lostfloyd

5%20stars I discovered Porcupine Tree with this album.

It took me a few weeks to get acclimatized to the particular sound, harmonies and melodies...

But then, I really enjoyed this album. Until now it is one I would advise everyone to listen to.

NO-MAN — Returning Jesus
Review by lostfloyd

5%20stars Original and amazing music. One of my favourites albums of all times.

A lot of emotion transmitted by the warm voice of Tim Bowness, like a diamond in a custom-made case of music by Steven Wilson.

Close your eyes and let this work of art come over you.

JETHRO TULL — J-Tull Dot Com
Review by raindance2007

5%20stars Some very good songs on this album. Awol, Wicked windows, Dotcom, Dog ear years and Far Alaska are all very good songs. An outtake song called It all trickles down is also very good and should have been included on the album. Hot Mango flush is also quite cool, while there are another 3 or 4 good tracks. Typically excellent music from Tull

A typical example of someone going overboard with the stars. He starts off saying the album has "some very good songs" then gives it 5 stars!

And you call them SPECIAL COLLABORATOR, OR SPECIALISTS??

PORCUPINE TREE — Stupid Dream

Review by Sean Trane (Hugues Chantraine)
SPECIAL COLLABORATOR Prog-Folk Specialist

2%20stars After such a cornerstone as Signify , Porcupine Tree had to try even harder to renew themselves . Alas, they did but not the way I expected them to do. This album has too many hard rock guitars (borderline noisy-rock) and non-sensical songs. I never got into this album as I find it aggressive and find it relatively aimless.

ALAN PARSONS PROJECT — Vulture Culture

Review by Proghead (Ben Miler)
PROG REVIEWER

2%20stars Sorry, but I really think the ALAN PARSONS PROJECT loses it here. There's really nothing more new to offer here. At this point, the music is pretty indistinguisable pop. At this point, I'd only recommend "Vulture Culture" to diehards only.

ALAN PARSONS PROJECT — Vulture Culture

Review by Chris Stacey
SPECIAL COLLABORATOR Honorary Collaborator

2%20stars Well Vulture Culture has to be for ardent collectors only. There are a couple of decent tracks like ' The Traveller' and ' The same old sun' but everyhting is rather much plain ordinary with few hooks and an abundance of the ' same old stuff'

AND THIS ONE:

FRANK ZAPPA — Thing-Fish
Review by Foxy

4%20stars Wow! It's great! It is so funny and entertaining. It is a sort musical with wierd plot and beautiful music. I enjoyed listening to it. Terry and Dale Bozzio are great. If you like crazy stuff, you'll love it.

CAN — Ege Bamyasi

Review by mdjonas72

5%20stars CAN has no equal. This album is irrefutable proof of this. I mean..."Vitamin C"!!..c'mon man...it's brilliant.....and "Pinch".....WOW!!!.....This conjures up images of rocketing through the jungle on a missle, tripping on nutmeg while simultaneously engaging in coitus...and this was recorded 34 years ago?? This is definitely a musician's band, and as a drummer, I am awestruck with respect to the supernatural prowess that Jaki Liebezeit demonstrates behind the drum kit. Oh....and...DAMO....the raw, premordial emotion (that often borders on the insane) that this man exudes is amazing. What a voice.....love it or hate it....WHAT A VOICE!!!! Personally, I love it. Hell, I'm in love with this whole album....Yes, even the frightening and seemingly interminable "Soup"......WARNING:EGE BAMYASI IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!!!!! EITHER YOU GET IT, OR YOU DON'T....THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND!!!!!........HEY YOU!!!!....YOU'RE LOSING, YOU'RE LOSING, YOU'RE LOSING, YOU'RE LOSING YOUR VITAMIN C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about this one?

ALAN PARSONS PROJECT — Tales of Mystery and Imagination - Edgar Allan Poe

Review by Sunhillow_

5%20stars It΄s a pity that Parsons screwed the album with his overdubbs. The original one is a symphonic prog classic. What is that guitar on Raven? No way man. Go home Orsons Wells. We dont need you here. Said that, the album runs nicely from A Dream Within a Dream to The Fall of The House of The Usher. This is the best record from this band, very different from the next ones. You can hear some little FLoyd here and there and vocals and melody are the great. Essential!!
