John Inman,famous for his role as Mr Humphries in the BBC sitcom Are You Being served? died today at age 71.

Sad news.
I was surprised to discover that AYBS was so popular in the US. I would have thought it was too "British" (but what do I know?).

Every day I find more and more hard to regret someone's death. Death is a part of life, and if a person lives a good life, there should be nothing but happiness and good memories, specially if you get to die at a very advanced age. I do, however, feel sad about infortunate deaths, as in innocent people being murdered in fuel wars, innocent people getting killed by arseholes drivers, etc. But if you get to live your life more or less in a good way, and you feel happy with what you acomplished, then a natural, peaceful death is exactly what you should expect, and no one should look at this as tragedy, just as a natural and quite logical event.
