Since I'm kind of devoted to pure comedy, i have to 50% agree with you. The fairly odd parents also presents some really unexpected jokes from time to time, like that one episode about Vicky being bad because of a bug, and Cosmo's relief about it, because ti was a bug and not corn. Very Monty Python stuff...

^yes I enjoy fairly odd parents.
it seems you like cartoons more aimed towards a younger generation, which is kind of neat. which cartoons do you REALLY enjoy/prefer? I'm interested...

I agree, that show doesn't get anywhere near as much respect as it deserves. On occasion it references things way above the targeted audience and other times it's just pure abusrdism. When it's good, it's very good

If a need to laugh, Invader Zim is all I need. The Nickelodeon equivalent to listening to The Residents. For White jokes, just Wallace and Gromit. Those guys in Aardman can make a joke out of nothing.

I used to love Invader Zim, I wasn't even aware it still came on...
What channels/where can I watch it?

I found out the other day, that this number keeps on re-occuring in Futurama and the number in question has something to do with some very complicated Science stuff.

I have Invader Zim season in avi format, since it is not availabe as DVD in this country. I specially like the Christmas episode, though I have the feeling that the author of the scripts is in seriuos need of psychiatric help. As for Wallace and Gromit, and, as I said, being a truly devoted fan of comedy, I have to say that those guys are the most clever writters / animators ever.

The thing about futurama is that they kill their jokes because they presented a future in wich everything is possible. So, nothing is funny, because nothing unexpected can happen in a future in wich everything can happen.

Simpsons.
I kinda like Fairly Oddparents myself. I know I'm repeating what was just said, but it does have a lot of humor for older audiences.
One of my favorites:
We looked everywhere for clowns, even congress. The place was full of clowns but none of them were funny.
Good show

Simpsons, South Park and Robot Chicken from this poll. Family Guy is awesome as well.
Other excellent cartoon shows: Ed Edd & Eddy, Johnny Bravo and Tom & Jerry.
